Paper has been the preferred communication medium for 2,000 years. Even in today’s digital world, it continues to be highly effective. Today, paper can be produced, used, and disposed of responsibly. It is inherently sustainable.
We have achieved Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®) and Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification schemes (PEFC) Chain of custody certification for responsibly sourced paper.
These chain of custody certifications allow you to track your print job from the forest, through the pulp producer, paper mill, paper merchant, PMWeb and onto your customer. It can even provide postal environmental discounts if your print is being mailed out!
We constantly strive to reduce our chemical usage and have eliminated the use of alcohol in our web printing. Accredited waste contractors collect and deal with any chemical waste generated in the process.
We are constantly looking at reducing our wastepaper, and all waste we produce in the manufacturing plant and the office is segregated and sent for recycling.
In 2022 we installed 250Kw solar panels on our 60,000 sq ft production site to help control our electricity costs, generate clean energy in line with our ISO14001 credentials and power 20% of our daily business requirement.
We are conscious of the printing industry’s effect on our planet. That’s why we strive to work in partnership with the environment. Recent machinery investments have simplified the recovery of chemicals and conversion of solvent gases to environmentally friendly emissions.
